you might go to Vietnam, but you can't come back to Thailand. You might go to Myanmar, but you can't come back to Thailand. You can fly back to the UK, but you can't go back to Thailand. That's a fact for the next 30 days period, as long as you have to bring "insurance and covid-19 free certificate" to be allowed into Thailand. The 72-hour old certificate is sheer impossible to get. So whoever tells you to try Myanmar or Vietnam, hasn't finished thinking what is the next step. You could STAY in Myanmar or Vietnam if their visa allow you a prolonged stay, though. But there still remains the problem that you cannot go back to Thailand in the next 30 days. This rule is going into effect in a few hours from now

are you married to a Thai wife or have a Thai child you are the legal father of? This will enable you to get a 60-days "family relations" extension

forget about taking lucky chances . . . border runs will definitely remain not possible for one more month, and other options are dying a daily death . . your best bet is, go on stand-by with your airline and fly back home ASAP. You could wait until the last day but chance then is that you will get hopelessly stuck

have you already been issued the Tourist Visa for Thailand ? If NOT, now you are stuck in Myanmar because you cannot produce neither the insurance nor the medical certificate "fit for travel" (without the need of showing that you are covid19-free) . . as the regulation have changed overnight for the medical certificate to inlcude the covif19-free statement. That means essentially that you are stuck in Myanmar

you cannot run the covid19 test and receive it UNDER 48 hours . .in some countries, it takes up to 5 days until you receive the results. Which FACTUALLY means: The country is CLOSED for entry for ALL and everybody. All that is left is your option to go on standby with your airline and get back home

c'mon boys and girlz, it is over, Thailand has "factually" cosed its borders for ANY entry. You can get holed up and hold out until your country ships you back, or try to CATCH a flight back home NOW quick and fast. Go to the airport BKK and go on stand-by . Stop dreaming about the covid19 certificate and how to do it in a timely manner

if one prefers to get stuck in Laos, go get the Laos visa

why you still offer such solutions like "get a visa for Laos" is out of my level of understanding. As he CANNOT get back into Thailand from Laos any more without the two proofs
