Obviously anything is possible but I have not seen anyone who likes in the US and has their application "Pending" being asked for more info after the first week. Myself and my 2 friends were both asked for additional documents within 72 hours of initial filing and once went to pending approval, never heard anything else except the DTV was approved. Of course there is always that possibility but you will probably be ok. I don't think I would try that in Vietnam or Laos or Cambodia. Very unpredictable there from what has been posted. Good luck!

Sorry I do not. Alot of embassies just went to the online filing so who knows what that will mean.

Just had a friend get his approval out of Wash DC. Was 3-

weeks.

Totally varies. Some embassies want to see 6 months and others like the US just want to see what's in there now.

Everytime I see an embassy asking for 6 months of statements I appreciate the streamlining of the NYC Consulate. 🙂

Depends what DTV you are filing for

The "passing tourist" is not the one who lives in Thailand doing repetitive border jumps. SMH

Depends on the embassy. It was real quick and simple with the NY embassy. Copy of business registration, letter that I am company officer and can work remotely, and a personal bank statement showing I had the money in my personal account, passport and pix. Done in 30 days.
