If a retirement visa you need a TM7 &8 plus two passport type photos . Your bank book showing the balance for one year , a letter from the bank confirming the balance and copies. Your need to visit the main immigration office once everything in complete. Not the bank letter is valid for 7 days only and copies of the bank book must include the day your visit . Just use the atm to update as saves time . Your also need copies of your passport visa main page etc etc . At the back of immigration they will copy for you the charge is between

You can bring up to USD 20,000 (or its equivalent in foreign currency) or 500,000 Thai Baht (THB) in cash into Thailand without needing to declare it to customs. If the total combined value of foreign currency, Thai Baht, and negotiable instruments exceeds these thresholds, you must declare it to a Customs Officer at the port of entry.

Yes a fixed account for my visa and savings account for daily expenses . Savings account you can use a atm or phone but I fixed account your need to visit your bank to withdraw funds

Agree with other you have a stamp for the yearly extension plus a bigger square stamp stating a single entry.

Barclays charge £12 per transfer so I switch mine every quarter. Many friends use Wise to switch

Tried a few times but didn’t see anything. I used to book online first my annual visa but now it seems to have disappeared

In Hau Hin you don’t even need a TM 47 better still you can do this online just register it’s free
