Whilst I totally agree that Americans think we all should follow their formats and even worse price everything in Thailand in (American) dollars when the Thai currency is baht….and there are numerous other counties using dollars, I still believe that these embassies and consulates see the cost of the visa a bit of a cash cow and could easily allow the simple and obvious typos to be corrected.
Anonymous participant personally I think these difficulties put in the way of applicants are seen as a money spinner for the embassies. They know people will reapply and pay another fee. Just my opinion.
I’ve tried to find out how this works if you’re not going for the working remotely. Dental/medical/cooking class etc. Cooking classes could be a one day thing or go on for weeks. I’ve yet to find any information at all online that gives clarity for this particular classification.
