Anonymous participant You just need to do a search in this group “Vientiane” you can try if you want, but Vientiane is getting more strict.. I’m in Taipei right now for that reason. (Funds not in my bank long enough for Vientiane according to other stories on here.)

should be able to get a residence certificate at immigration after 90 days on the Visa you’d need a lease, signed copy of the owners ID (or if you own a condo, those documents) along with the TM.30

All the immigration offices vary from what they want from you, but it should be obtainable on this Visa

But yes, as you said, many people are being turned away just based on the Visa type

yes you will need to take all 39 pages of your statements plus all your other documents. - Anything you’re not sure, take it anyway. You’d rather have too much paperwork than not enough.

That is literally hearsay.

Just because you don’t believe I have a huge folder of documents that I’ve gone into 20 to 30 banks attempting to get a bank account on an Education Visa … doesn’t make it not true… hearsay hearsay believe what you want.  I was just originally sharing my personal experience believe what you want…

Again with the agent as I said, I know I can hundred percent pay $400-500aud and get a bank account that day … it’s probably what I will have to do as I’ve tried so many banks
