thanks for the heads up. Went in this morning and had my retirement extension in hand by 9:30! Had my map drawn on blank paper and they didn’t ask me to redraw it which was unexpected. They also didn’t want a copy of my rental contract just the TM30 from my passport. Always an adventure in there getting it right but for the first time ever all trended in my favor.

Thanks so much for the input sir. It was my previous understanding that you could not be on an extension of any sort when applying for NonO. Very happy to be wrong!

Previously it was 14days left on the Entry stamp correct? At what point did this change. Just in CM?

Pretty much makes it impossible to enter VISA exempt into the Sandbox and get the retirement VISA anywhere else as they are only giving 30 days again. What a mess. Seriously hope I don’t have to go back to the USA and start over!

I agree it’s not ideal and maybe not even possible in the end however needing 21 days now instead of the 14 it was previously
