Did you get the message on the end of the website that the application was submitted successfully ?

If so the email isn’t necessary as it will in the immigration computer.

DTV visas are not transferred and you use both passports until the DTV record is updated with your new passport number like the officer informed you.

Only Thai nationals can use entry e-gates.

Phuket allows the extension at any stage but they can ask you to do it later if it is very busy at the immigration office.
