Thailand signed up for and implemented CRS.. In line with the rest of the world... 👍

Next step will be requiring tax numbers for all existing account holders 👍

it's easy enough to do yourself, but an agent also works to do the paper work for you.. You still have to go to the transport department yourself... Don't fall for the scammers on FB adverts who say you don't.... You do 👍

once you become "resident" the expectation is you get a Thai licence..

It's the same everywhere in the world once you become "resident" after X time you need a local license.

It's so easy to convert to Thailand licence.. Anyone who doesn't is either very lazy or a cheap Charlie trying to save less than THB 1000

it will not work... Biometrics, and governments now put new passport info on an international data base.. Ie his new passport would come up as "formally know as" AKA along with old passport details in old name 👍

he will not find it.. There is no domestic terminal at Suv... You "turn left" entering the check in area and head towards the domestic end of the terminal
