 I agree keep the money in US bank and transfer $ each month to Bkk bank for spending money. Rent is cheap over here. I also read that you can transfer B65,000/month for spending money from overseas to Bkk bank about $2000.00 to renew your visa.

 We are retired and live in small town along the coast north of LA and spend winter in Bkk and Hua Hin not so stressful 😁
