You need Thai phone number, you need letter of residence from immigration so obviously a TM 30 longer than 90 days lodged

yes you need to be out of Thailand to apply ask around Vientiane had a 4 day turn around for 90 day non o before Christmas

John Pollins you could visit Vientiane and apply for the non o there or Kuala Lumpur apply outside for 90 days get bank account once that's granted then you can do the extension

you need to get the 90 day non o retirement visa first then get your bank account sorted once your here.

as long as surgeon says it's OK. However most would advise wait 8 to 12 weeks. Also heightened dvt risk post surgery.

60 day exemption then either extend for 30 days at immigration or a sightseeing trip to Laos or Cambodia for the day then return for another 60 day exemption then extend it
