Great help and advise . My British Passport is nearly full too, but Visa O, is OK until April, done a renewal using old system.

If budget is an issue or you do not like flying.

The train ( sleeper) is great, comfy. AC 2nd class sleeper is very good, but an issue on timing or delays. ( Under 900 Baht )

Bus is also great NCA to Nong Khai or Air Udon , both are very comfy and good leg room Air Udon about 500B, NCA about 750 B.

Just an alternative , I use them both and have done for more than 8 Years.

I have the same Visa and a very nice lady at Thai Immigration explained.

If you have a stick on page Visa, ie a paper visa stuck on to a page in your passport, you have to leave Thailand every 90 days. Multiple entry.

If you have a stamp, ie an ink stamp O visa , you can do a 90 day report at your local immigration.

It made it really clear and simple, we for me any way.
