I have a Non O based on marriage to Thai it is a Multiple Entry. My date for exit is on 8 th April.

I live in Bangkok. I am British.

I believe I should apply for an extension.

Question....Do I go direct to Immigration in Chang Wattanna on Tuesday is this the correct place for Non O.

Is it a 60 Day extension.

Am I correct in saying I do not need a letter from the British Embassy as this is my first extension.

Cost of extension 1900 Baht ?

Any tips would be appreciated.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the procedure for applying for a 60-day extension of stay on their Non O visa based on marriage to a Thai citizen. They ask if the correct location for applying is the Immigration office in Chang Wattanna, whether a letter from the British Embassy is needed for the first extension, and confirm the cost of the extension as 1,900 Baht. Community members provide supportive responses, advising to apply early due to the office's busyness and confirming the cost.

What documents are required to file for this 60-day extension of stay based on visiting family? Do we have to show the same docs as the original visa application? I must do this same thing in two weeks.

I don't want you to bring the wrong documents, but a good "rule of thumb" is:

- Your wife

- The original rose-border certificate

- A double sided copy of the rose border certificate

- A copy of your data page (the "picture") of your passport

- A copy of your depart by stamp page

- A copy of your visa (if it applies)

- A copy of your departure card

- A copy of your TM30

- Two passport photos

- 1,900THB

You may not need all of these documents, OR you may need more. Immigration would be the experts
