what I would say is do not uae a visa agent. Once you are in Thailand, visit one of the smaller towns which has an immigration office. Speak gently with tge thai staff and they will give you all the help and advice you will need. My brother found the immigration office in chaing rai very friendly. They helped him with getting the necessary insurance and even fill up the forms. Just be friendly because Thai people are kind
