Just don’t get sick! I’ve got Parkinson’s Disease which nobody will cover. So I’m stuck with my company who knows I’m trapped so the price goes up every year with no relief in sight.

Insurance companies get paid not to pay out any money. If you get seriously ill they’re eventually going to bleed you dry. I’m having trouble making the payments now. What happens in 5-10 years? They just want to get rid of me before I get sicker. They should be illegal!

Sometimes I think that these new regulations and different things you have to do just to drive business off to one of these agencies that will get all done for you for

In Pattaya the area for gay men is called Boys Town. It’s just a few blocks from Walking Street.

I had that happen once. I suddenly discovered I was late with my 90 report. Very late! Over a month late! I had visions of the Monkey House in my future!

I shot right down there and tried to prepare a story, any story, that would spare me what I thought might happen. It was late on a Friday afternoon, almost closing time when I made it in there. The guy behind the desk was sitting back and scrolling absentmindedly through his phone when I sat down. I handed over my Passport and began babbling whatever excuse I was attempting.

And then mid-sentence I stopped. As I watched, the guy opened my Passport and without even looking at the date or anything else, he plucks out the page with my old report and threw it away! He stapled the new one in there and I was out the door quicker than the ink could dry!

Actually, it’s not. I called the NY branch once and they told me nothing goes through their branch. He told me they don’t have any money there.

The branch is located on the 25th or something floor of some office building. Not exactly a place you walk into. I don’t even think they have tellers. I really don’t know what they do there, but getting money transferred through there is not one of them.

I’ve always resisted agents figuring I could just do it myself. But there’s no way to plan to do anything when they change the rules so many times. They messed me up so much last year I had to pay a late fee! Add that nonsense to all the stresses of the lines and having everything perfect when you get there has me thinking that maybe it would be better using a service. And my situation isn’t complicated at all. At least it wasn’t before!!!

It was back in 1987. I only brought it up because the other guy was talking about things that could happen. And that might not have even been the same airport that’s there now.

I actually had some fun! Wound up outside the airport was something I wasn’t quite expecting. What really got me was there were soldiers armed with automatic weapons that were patting everybody down who entered. I had never seen that before. I was more concerned with the lady not wanting to let me through since I didn’t have that much time, but it worked out ok. The airport was a nice place. I just wouldn’t recommend going outside!

I stopped over in Istanbul one time and was told I could get off the plane. So I get off and I’m walking around and suddenly find myself outside. So I was only out there a minute since there was nothing out there and I went back inside. Go to some check point to get on my plane and a lady tried to have me pay some departure tax. Huh? I was pleading my case and not getting very far with it, when another guy who worked there realized what was going on and let me through. Be careful if you try to go outside!
