Trevor Ratcliffe you have to show bank statement with closing balance of 800k. No need to show wise receipt. Bank statements shows it, that from where each balance come from. But no need to worry about it too much because they usually check money.

Trevor Ratcliffe I did it the same way. I send from payoneer to my bank account and one of my friend send from PayPal to his wife account as he can't open bank account on tourist visa and then he transfer the money to his own bank account. No need to show them anything. Once you provide statement, transactions code says everything. International transactions and local has different codes. And they don't ask about from where it comes from. I bought house on my wife name and then I didn't have money for visa. My wife took loan on house for 3 months for which I paid just 6000 baht extra and I took visa on it. And returned the amount to company immediately

thailand laws for foreigners is like they compell foreigners to go to agents and then those agents pay some money to the immigration officers and then everything is done quickly. but they never solve the issue that why on dtv a foreigner can not open bank account. they don't look to it so that foreigners open it by themselves in bank in genuine way

A lot of people have applied and they rejected it so it is better to not waste your money. They will give you tourist visa instead of DTV. Better to apply from another country if you have residency of that country.

yes, you are so right. It took hours in immigration for a useless thing of 90 day report, just to give tough time to foreigners. Thanks to Bigjoke who make these laws and make it really hard for foreigners to get visa and everything has to be done through an agent who give some bribe to immigration officers and then everything will be done quickly. I remember when I was registering my marriage in Bangkok amphur, in 2 months they didn't call me but when I give 8000 baht to officer, they did it within one hour.

What a useless thing is this 90 day report. Really need some wise man to revise all these useless laws of visas and 90 days report etc. Today I see a man who got married in malaysia and have 5 years visa without have to keep 400k baht in bank account like Thailand.

I live in sungai-kolok. I see every-day a lot of people from different countries go to Malaysia illegally and Thai police and immigration is involved in it and take money from them. I have seen passports of some people who are clearly banned in Malaysia but when they arrive to Thailand on visit visa at Bangkok airport, they take $300 from them and let them go and then those people also go to Malaysia by Thai border, pay to immigration officers again at border. Idk when this corruption will stop. They love money so much.
