You need to have a full motorcycle licence from your home country, besides your IDP shouldn't have motorcycle entitlement unless you have passed a full motorbike test.
A few years ago so may be changed now, but opening a bank account with Bangkok Bank was relatively easy, you just had to explain their own rules (which they kindly provided) to them.
You need a passport with a valid visa and 1 item of the of things on the list. The top of these options is a letter from the embassy but another of the options is an introduction by a customer of the Bangkok bank. It can take some time to explain that the letter from the embassy isn't required if you are with a customer of the bank, but in my case my wife (Bangkok bank customer) explained the word "or" and hey presto 10 minutes later have an account with atm card and book.
This could all change in the next week as they really aren't sure what they going to do. In this case we can't blame them as at this time I don't think anyone knows what is going to happen.
I think the best thing they could do would be to extend the amnesty on one month extensions for 1900 baht or a 3 month extension for say 5000 baht. To avoid the queues at the immigration they could say come in on the day of the month when your original visa finished.
there are much less flights as there isn't the demand, you may see that there are flights scheduled but in reality 80-90% of these flights are cancelled.
I know a couple who have had 3 different flights to Germany with different airlines all cancelled and they still haven't been refunded for the first yet, they have booked a 4th flight for Friday KLM via Amsterdam hopefully that won't get cancelled in them.
