Trat province and Koh Chang are opening to domestic travel tomorrow. There will be screening at the ferries but people can now come onto Koh Chang from outside Trat province for the first time in 2 months.

TLDR : Answer Summary
Trat province and Koh Chang are reopening for domestic travel, allowing entry from outside Trat for the first time in two months, with screenings at the ferries. There is uncertainty whether Thai nationals and foreign visitors will undergo different processing procedures, as noted by a comment in the discussion.

Good to hear, thanks for sharing Zac. Do you know if Thais and foreigners will be processed differently like some provinces are doing?

There doesn't seem to be any screening points at the ferry either in or out. I travelled Thursday and Friday of last week.

Sorry Garrett
@Gree*****
I am not sure on the processes, I believe that there will be a screening point at the ferry terminal, hopefully someone will be able to clarify once they have got here.
