Thailand already passed a law last year stating that money remitted (transferred from abroad) into Thailand is subject to taxes for all Thai tax residents (you become a Thai tax resident as soon as you stay more than 180 days in the Kingdom, whatever the visa you are on) .

Be aware that the director of the Thai tax revenue department has confirmed 2 months ago in the media (you can Google it) that they are working/thinking on taxing worldwide revenue for all Thai tax residents (and not only the money tte degrees into Thailand). Not done yet but in the pipeline …

Why ? My friend’s son just got his DTV with his dad as a guarantor for the 500k. Approved in 2 business days . Super easy

Yep. And for each re-entry or extension immigration will ask the same … meaning 3 months course for every 6 months … a bit of a hassle to be honest … and expensive as well …

When I mentionned Google translate it was for your usage. I can read Thai and I can tell you that the Google translation is right on point with the original meaning . You are saying all over the place the opposite of what the Royal Gazette is saying. Carry on and change nothing 😂

Mate, the more you post the more you are looking as a clown 🤡 . What you say is totally wrong . If you can read Thai I recommend you to read the Royal gazette article published on Monday on the DTV. If you don’t read Thai you can use Google translate . Even with the Google translate version you will see that you are in total denial of reality .

Totally wrong. Please start to read the documents issued before posting. It’s 180 days stamped per entry. Entries are unlimited. And after completing the 180 days after each entry you have the choice to do a border bounce and repeat OR extend within country for 10k THB . Each time.

Come on !! Thai cooking class lasting 6 months ?? The longest I can find on the internet is 2 weeks . If signing for a 2 weeks class gives me 5 years multiple entry visa: I’m all in !!! 😀

I wish it would work like that. But very unlikely. Since it would be the end of other visas like Thai Privilege (former Elite) . They are not going to kill the goose that lays the golden egg… On my opinion it will work like B1 visitor visa in USA: valid 10 years but foreign “visitors” are only allowed to stay a maximum of 180 days per calendar year on US 🇺🇸 territory .
