Are you coming in visa exempt or on a TR visa? There's a difference, both will get you 60 days. Visa exempt, just show passport. TR visa, need to complete eVisa app. It will tell you what you need.
Yes, different branches require different things. Don't let them push you around. Keep looking until you find one that will work with you or show them their own account opening requirements. You will also want to get an account with a bank that allows 50000 baht tranfers from Wise. Bangkok Bank, Kasithorn and SCB do. I went to two Bangkok banks and they wanted a letter from my Embassy, which is a valid document but not the only one that would work. Then another one wanted a letter from the Tourist Police. NOT even a requirement but easier than a letter from the embassy and time was of the essence. The one in the mall said a letter from my wife would be enough but it was flooded so go figure. If they bitch, ask them if they want you to call headquarters. Maybe that will get their attention. Or you could show them this. Also available in Thai:

or one could ask why someone would provide useless, inaccurate information and waste other people's time like you did. You thought you were correcting me but you provided absolutely no information of value. You think all visas have the same requirements. You are providing false and misleading information. The posts I gave provide useful information that many can use and save the links for future reference. So no, I didn't waste my time. I had to correct your stupid post. People come here for accurate info. In the future, if you can't provide any useful info just shut up. You think you're an expert because you've been in this group 4 mos?
so I guess immigration wasted it's time creating the signs? Do you even know what the requirements are? TR Visa asks for roundtrip ticket, where you will stay and proof of assets. You only need to upload your ticket and asset info, not proof of accomodation. That's why when you get to the airport they only ask for passport, eVisa and boarding ticket. Visa Exempt, you just show up with your passport. I know, did this many times. Visa on Arrival, have to show return ticket and they ask where you will stay on application, don't know if you have to show proof of accomodations, I don't need this visa but I know what the sign says at immigration. ALL require some form of assets but they never ask except for the TR visa app. ALL visas have different proofs "mate!"
there is a sign at immiigration at BKK that says for foreign passports show Passport, eVisa, and boarding pass. Another sign for visa on arrival says must show departure ticket. I would post pics but pics not allowed at immigration, and I didn't want to get kicked out before I even got into Thailand. Next time everyone is at the airport look for them and learn from them.
