Hi All, I’ve seen on this page reference to the three ‘proofs’ when coming into Thailand. 20,000 (?) thb cash, an onward ticket, and what was the other one? I can’t seem to find the relevant posts. Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
When entering Thailand, travelers are generally required to provide three proofs: 1) 20,000 THB in cash, 2) an onward ticket, and 3) proof of accommodation for at least the first few days or a letter from someone if staying with them.

or one could ask why someone would provide useless, inaccurate information and waste other people's time like you did. You thought you were correcting me but you provided absolutely no information of value. You think all visas have the same requirements. You are providing false and misleading information. The posts I gave provide useful information that many can use and save the links for future reference. So no, I didn't waste my time. I had to correct your stupid post. People come here for accurate info. In the future, if you can't provide any useful info just shut up. You think you're an expert because you've been in this group 4 mos?

The three proofs are required, mate.

Regardless of whether you're asked to show them or not, regardless of a sign in the airport---> the three proofs are required.

People without them have been denied entry. End of story.

TIT (this is Thailand)

YMMV 🙃

so I guess immigration wasted it's time creating the signs? Do you even know what the requirements are? TR Visa asks for roundtrip ticket, where you will stay and proof of assets. You only need to upload your ticket and asset info, not proof of accomodation. That's why when you get to the airport they only ask for passport, eVisa and boarding ticket. Visa Exempt, you just show up with your passport. I know, did this many times. Visa on Arrival, have to show return ticket and they ask where you will stay on application, don't know if you have to show proof of accomodations, I don't need this visa but I know what the sign says at immigration. ALL require some form of assets but they never ask except for the TR visa app. ALL visas have different proofs "mate!"

visa exempt. 45days that's it .no showing any thing at airport. You can extend at imagation before 45days finish.

there is a sign at immiigration at BKK that says for foreign passports show Passport, eVisa, and boarding pass. Another sign for visa on arrival says must show departure ticket. I would post pics but pics not allowed at immigration, and I didn't want to get kicked out before I even got into Thailand. Next time everyone is at the airport look for them and learn from them.

visa exempt or numerous back to back tourist visas could make an immigration officer question you on arrival. Rarely do unless a history of entries.

Booked accommodation. At least for the first few days - or a letter from a relative or friend if you’re staying with them.
