Anonymous participant 416 avoid all Vietnam airports if possible. SGN and HAN are way below standard for cities of their size. They’re an embarrassment. Da Nang is a slight step above, but that’s not saying much.

I’d wager I’m a few years older than you. 😆 I’ve spoken to several medical doctors about this and read several large, long term studies on the effects of vitamin/supplement use. A well balanced diet is much more beneficial and truly all that is needed - unless there are specific reasons, such as pregnancy, medical conditions, etc. And, yes, as I get older I’m sure I’ll probably add in some calcium and vitamin D.

Here’s an example:

My comment was in reference to the general, healthy population that has the means and access to a full diet with complete nutrition. I realize there are endless exceptions to that group.

while there are vitamins out there that are actually soluble and deliver the advertised nutrients, healthy people generally gain no benefit from taking them. Many large, peer reviewed studies have been done on this over the last few decades. Sure, there are specific instances where they’re needed and effective, but for the majority of the population it has no effect on health.

I’d trust Google and the US immigration website much more than FB.

interesting comment. I live in Da Nang currently. Definitely not an old folks place. It’s not a party town like Phuket or Pattaya, more like a smaller Chiang Mai with a beach. Less than an hour drive to Hỏi An is very nice, too.

Ages are evenly distributed. Not at all like Pattaya or Hua Hin.

But the tourist mix is interesting. I lived in Phu Quoc several years ago and the tourist mix was mostly Vietnamese with maybe 15% foreigners, and of those they were tilted toward Europeans but a fair amount of Aussie, US, and Canada.

Current mix in Da Nang is Korean, Chinese, Indian, Russian with a low number of Euro, Aussie, US, and Canada.

I know, TMI!

I enjoy living here but prefer Thailand and look forward to moving there next year.

Cheers!

“absolved”? 😆 English isn’t your native language, I take it. “Absorbed” would be the word you’re looking for. And, no, I don’t think the US really cares about any of those countries. Oh, you were referring to the orange clown child’s incoherent ramblings?? 🤣 🤡

one might presume there’s a lot of coffee money getting paid under the table from the agents to the staff there.
