I’d advise anyone applying online to read their full submission 5 times before submitting. The website will automatically correct things like date of birth and the name field.

As mentioned many times, even one letter out of place will result in your application being denied with no chance to resubmit (without paying again)

I thought they aren’t allowing walk ins for DTV in Vietnam since the system went online?

ignore the negative comments mate. I'd say all options given to you are useless, especially option 3, which tbh looks like a scam? If you have the patience and IT skills, try heading out of Thailand to one of the countries near by.

Jakarta are still doing walk ins and I've heard they are really easy to deal with in terms of resubmitting documents, so that could be your best option.

Double check the visa requirements too as this visa requires substantial evidence that you're doing what you say you're here to do. Trusting agencies when the evisa is only 5 days launched could be very risky, lots of scammers looking to make a quick buck from you.

If you do end up submitting your own application (why not!?) then make sure to triple check your application form, as even an incorrect space error can get it rejected online.

I have a visa appointment booked for the 24th in Hanoi and got this email when I asked if they will still “honor” it;

I believe all of the DTV will go online between OCT 4th - 8th. I was refused several appointments for a dtv in person as they said it’s all going online.

Anyone confirm?

Also if it’s all online, is it a central authority who issues or does it go to the embassy in the country in which you’re in when you make the online application. Cheers 👍
