I got DTV today at the Thai embassy in Yangon, Myanmar. The first time it was rejected because there was no labor office stamp. After a month, I was able to apply again as a director šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜

I applied as the main applicant for myself and as a spouse for my wife.

Both don't even have to go. I went to submit the form alone. I answered the interview alone at 2 pm and paid USD800. The visa can be obtained within three working days.

The documents posted

For the main applicant myself

- cover letter

- Company Certificate

- Company Extract Form

- Meeting Minutes (In the minutes of the meeting, wrote that all directors know and support that I will be working in Thailand, the business is an e-commerce model, so most of the directors are working remotely, and that the office will issue a recommendation letter for DTV visa application, and signed the names of all directors)

- Recommendation Letter (paraphrase the information from the meeting minutes and signed by a director)

- COMPANY business profile (I added it to impress. I took a screen shot of the company website and Facebook page and added it.

- I showed the 500,000 baht with a 6-month statement from Bangkok Bank. The 500,000 baht was added to the account a week before.

- Certificate of residency

The documents submitted for the Spouse

- Marriage contract and notary

- Sponsorship Letter (I wrote that when did we get married, how important is it to live with me, and how do I take responsibility for her livelihood and health)

- I added 500,000 baht to the woman's Kasikorn Bank Account. (This makes it more impressive. A sponsorship letter is enough.)

- Certificate of residency and notary

- My passport copy

The interview is casual. Tell me your favorite places in Bangkok, that's all.

that's all. It's not difficult. It's easy. Apply yourself.

Hey guys

I want to go to Laos - Vientiane embassy in 10 days +or- to apply for the DTV Visa from there.

Few questions :

Has anyone applied from Vientiane in the last days ?

How was the process for you ?

Which documents did you submit ?

Anything particular that I should know ?

Do I need to book an appointment in advance ?

If anyone did it from there I would love to send you a message if thatā€™s possible for you

Just stressing myself to the max to make sure Iā€™m gonna get it šŸ™šŸ½šŸ˜…

Thank you !!

Applying for a METV.

They ask for;

ā€œDocument indicating current residencyā€.

Then they also ask for;

ā€œApplicant must apply for e-Visa via specific Embassy/Consulate conforming with his/her consular jurisdiction and residency. Applicant is required to upload document that can verify his/her current residencyā€.

What are the looking for here? My north certificate or something like a utility bill or bank statement with my address on it?

For anyone going to Vietnam for a tourist visa: Ho Chi Minh embassy want to see all documents and are enforcing it. Bank statements, air tickets and proof of hotel bookings. This is for a single entry tourist visa on a U.K. passport. They checked each document time and time again.

They also described the picking up of the visa as ā€˜the resultā€™...

Have all your documents printed before you come here. Youā€™ve been warned!

Update: Very doable in 36 hours, flew early morning from Don Meuang with Nok Air and then returned the next day in the evening. Visa ready at 13.30pm next day, website says 2 working days [I think] which is incorrect!

Hi all, I'm heading to Bali for a visa run. I have not been able to contact the consulate in advance. I won't find out until I get to the consulate in Denpassar on Friday if they will process a request for a non-O visa. If they do, I still won't find out until then what paperwork they will want. So, I'm asking a worst-case scenario question. I will have the income affidavit I got in Bangkok and a copy of my bank statement. What else could I possibly need? A health check up from the hospital here before I go? Any kind of rental agreement from my landlord? If so, for how long? Is one month enough? Anything else? What is the most that you have heard that people are asked for? Thanks!
