Our judge denied the 50% custody order that our lawyer requested, as my partner and I live together in a relationship (not fighting for custody over the child) and he said it's automatic anyway when he signs off on legitimising the child.

Are you sure it wasn't a 3 step process though? as the most important part is taking the court documents to the local Amphur to have them registered. The document they provide is supposedly the most important document of all.

You can put what you want in it, but it needs to be fair or it will mean nothing if you actually need to use it.

Thailand automatically counts all previous assets to marriage as personal property, with property acquired after marriage being considered marital property. There is no common law marriage in Thailand either.

After growing up in the bush and serving many years in the Army there's not alot left that isn't considered pre-existing conditions in my case lol.
