what's this then im in thailand under the "visa exempt" yet everyone of our passports has a visa stamp.

The EXEMPT just means you dont have to apply and pay for it. You still get one to enter seriously its not that hard.

I mean this really is pointless but how you going to sit here and tell someone you dont have a visa when its in your passport book all of ours.

I explained the 3 ways to be here under a tourist visa "visa exempt" just means you can come here with out an approval via application process and get a 60 day stamp.

If you apply for a DTV when its approved you print out that letter and when you get to thailand you get a 180 day stamp ... only difference you applied for it.

I applied for an educational visa when I arrived and when I get that approved I just goto immigration and get a 90 day stamp that I have to renew every 90 days for 1 year.

Seriously I have to explain this

Tdac is free that's just an arrival card. You can arrive and get a 60 day visa stamp with option to extend 30 days with a small fee.

There is a list or nationalities that can get 60 day visa with no application to enter this is commonly called "visa exempt" you still have a visa you just didnt have to apply for it and pay a fee.

There are some that have to apply for before hand.. if they arrive and didnt apply for 60 day tourist visa they only get 15 days.

These are all tourist visas in thailand 3 different ways the visa exempt status just means you dont have to apply before

Me using wise from US bank to THAI bank for payment on something I get 1 to 33 exchange and use debit card that has a 7$ fee for credit card.

If I use ACH and do it early the receipiant can get it the same day. Ive also had it take 2 days just depends when the ACH process or over weekend.

ACH bank transfer has only charged me 2 to 3$ and I've sent over 1500 with wise.

If I use an atm to pull cash I use the "Continue with out conversion " and it saves money bit i find wise is more convenient and saves more money.

I have yet to see wise fees charge me more based off amount being sent just which mode I use

Debit card or ACH.

If I sent via ach and the merchants sees the pending deposit they take it as paid..

Hope this helps

look at the web site how it breaks down in THEIR OWN WORDS ... what a TOURIST VISA is ... in their words

1. 60 day tourist VISA which you can apply for ( certain passports require this, nationality) with option to extend this means they had to apply for 60 days before arriving

2. The THAI GOVERNEMNT gives certain nationally an automatic VISA under which means ME AND YOU and alot of people do not have to apply for. The STAMP in your book is a VISA the exempt part is you didnt have to apply show up at boarder with said passport and VISA STAMP 60 days these can also extend for 30 days ...

3. If your nationality DOES NOT QUALIFY FOR or on the list of countries you arrive and only get 15 days here... a VISA STAMP for 15 days .... still a VISA stamp in your book...

If you didnt have a stamp in your book and you are here in thailand ...congrats you are here illegally !!

VISA EXEMPT means you were EXEMPT from applying for 60 days and didnt have to pay

Look in your book what does that say

VISA ................ you have a visa ...... you just didnt apply for it

Want to try again ??
