TLDR : Answer Summary
Having multiple ED (Education) visas does not necessarily negatively impact your chances of obtaining a DTV (Digital Work Visa) in Thailand. While some individuals believe a long history of ED visas may lead to increased scrutiny or interviews, others have successfully transitioned to DTV visas without issues. Factors such as compliance with visa regulations, personal presentation during the application process, and the specific circumstances of your visa history may play more significant roles in the outcome.

I was on an ED visa for 5 years. Never had a problem with subsequent visas. Even had a denial of entry cause I was border running. Didn't affect my application.

I don't think they look at visa history. I had two Ed visas but back over 5 years ago. They didn't ask anything about visa history and I didn't have to upload passport pages.

Not necessarily, proving that education has failed you might. If you can't construct a proper post after 'multiple' courses it might be time to go back home

In respect ed visa is considered a higher visa then DTV - as long as you were in compliance with your ed visa extended on time and report as required its a positive record to obtain other visas ed visa is a Non-o visa where DTV is considered a tourist visa.

The chance is and stays

, your history does not change it.

50% chance to get it issued and 50% chance to get it denied.

As there are only two options, issue or denied.

Well, obviously a lot of ED/visa exempt/extensions and so on is gonna put you under the lens. Its (highly) possible you get set for an interview, with so many Ed I'm sure you are very fluent at Thai.

Speaking Thai in Thailand is and should be the default, regardless of whether you were once a student on an EDU visa.
