I've never had a re-entry permit stamped in before and don't see how snipping the corners off my old passport will have any bearing on it. Thanks and I'll mention it to them when the time comes 🤔

I've never heard that mentioned before. I assumed your countries passport office merely snipped off a corner of the old passport to make it invalid.

It's what Buriram immigration told me when I applied for a year extension and a re-entry permit.

The immigration officer in Buriram, told me that IF I leave the country, I need to register the TM30 on arrival back. I'm aware it's office specific. Just thought I'd mention it. 🤔

I was told 45 days before is OK in the Buriram immigration office. Very quiet, every time I've visited.

Thanks Lloyd for the quick reply. I don't want to leave it until the last day, was just wondering if I could leave until under 30 days.

I have my answer now, so feel free to close this post.

Thanks again Ellie. Unless someone knows and comments about Buriram specific immigration rules, I guess you can close this post.

Much appreciated 👍

Thank you Ellie. Will I need photocopies of the details in my passport and TM6 and the entry visa?

Why would anyone put this ridiculous poll on here? Tod is the best person for advice on anything to do with visas. Along with Ellie, James and Robert.
