Don’t wait in line of normal stamp in Thailand airport. Ask officers that you have DTV visa . They will show you different way . And probably they will ask you few questions and maybe ask to fill a form . Even officer ask you again why you choose Thailand for dtv and be ready for all questions again . Good luck

Some embassies take 4-6 week . But one the best thing you can do is calling them and ask how long take . Wish u luck
