Not correct. Facial recognition works at KBank for foreigners as well as long as you registered for it via a visit to you branch. They will take at least 2 photos.

Both KBank and Bangkok Bank have implemented facial recognition for foreigners. If banking with KBank a visit to your branch is necessary. At Bangkok Bank verification via facial recognition suddenly popped up when I transferred >50k to my KBank account.

Moving to a branch in another province or region is up to the bank. It doesn't work everywhere.

The cost differs between provinces. At some it's free if you can pick it up next day,at some 300 baht same day. 500 baht is imo quite expensive.

Nonsense,there are more expats in Chonburi.The numbers sometime mentioned online about expats in Phuket is just bogus.There are three immigration offices in Chonburi province. How many do you have in Phuket?
