Switching to KBank because of disliking the 50k limit at Bangkok Bank wasn't very smart. There's now a 50k/day limit at KBank. It doesn't exist at Bangkok Bank when using facial recognition.I'm banking with both Bangkok Bank and KBank and it's much smoother parking money in Bangkok Bank.I'm using my KBank account for daily transactions, like payments online and ATM- withdrawals etc etc.I've been banking with Bangkok Bank in Jomtien for years and never had any problems whatsoever.
There's no "change of visa" from a 60 days visa exempt. That's when changing from a 60 days tourist visa to a 90 days Non-immigrant O via the form TM86. TM87 is the form when arriving on a visa exempt.
Sorry, but that doesn't work at every immigration office and for every reason you're visiting. They will eventually ask for the physical TM30-receipt which is supposed to be kept in your passport.I need a copy of mine when doing my 90-days reports and of course 1 year extensions.
May I ask why they closed your account? They would only do that if your account was empty and inactive. That's a rookie mistake. You always keep a few thousand baht in your bank account.
I ask again. What makes you think that a Non-O visa is valid only 90 days? Do you even know what Non-O means? I don't need any research,I've been living in Thailand many years and there's probably nothing I don't know about visas, except for maybe the LTR,which imo is totally irrelevant for normal retirees.
