thank you so much. So his insight was right? Rules changed? I remember in 2014 you couldn't get visa in Laos if you didn't properly cancel your extension

I am not sure, just returned from Vientiane, there was two guys who was applying based on thai children, and there was one Korean married to Thai wife, all 3 of them needed bank statements.
