TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for your next extension of stay in Thailand based on work, you do not need to present documents from your university, as the extension for employment allows you to study simultaneously. However, it is important to note that an extension based on studying does not permit work. If you decide to shift to a student visa, you would need to cancel your work-based extension first.

, So, you want to stop working.

You need to talk with your university if they and your course are eligible for Non-ED plus first. You also need to talk with the local immigration office if your case if eligible for Non-ED plus.

In case both of them say you can apply for Non-ED Plus.

You cancel your extension based on employment with the termination letter from your employer first. Then apply for Non-ED plus. As of this point, you cannot work anymore.

IF wither say no, not eligible, you cannot get Non-ED PLUS. You need to find another way.

do you have annocement about YEAR PLUS?
Ellie *******
Talk with your school. They should have information if they can support. Unless they can, general announcement wouldn't help you.

If you have an extension for the purpose of work, you are also allowed to study. However, if you have an extension of stay based on studying, you are not allowed to work. You can only choose one reason for extension of stay. When you had 2 jobs, your extension was still the single category of Work.

Then you will have to cancel your work permit, as you cannot hold one with an extension of stay for education. Why wouldn't you simply continue extending your stay for work, if you are planning to continue working during the time following your education?

, you want to be eligible doesn't mean you cab be. talk with your school first.

If you continue working on an extension based on employment by the same employer, you don't need documents from your university to apply for another extension based on employment.

You can study on that extension based on working, no problem.

Get the same paperwork from your employer and apply for a 1-year extension based on employment as you did last year.

The one year extension of stay is New and is for those who are completing their Degree program to encourage them to stay longer in Thailand.

Have you visited your local Thai Immigration office to ask them for their requirements for this new 🆕 one year extension of stay opportunity?

So when I had two jobs I needed to bring two sets to immigration and I got extension of stay based on two purpose, I wonder is it possible to get this for education purpose, so when I stop working after graduation I can get YEAR PLUS that Im eligible for.
Ellie *******
@Ručman **********
, no you cannot have two different type visa or extension. As long as you work, you cannot get Non-ED based visa or extension. Your current extension is not for two purpose, only for employment. You have two documents from both jobs to get WP for both.

If you want to apply for Non-ED Plus, you need to talk with your university if they and your course are eligible, and you NEED to stop working completely as Non-ED is employment prohibited.
