Just a quick note that at Chiang Mai immigration, if you are applying for year extension, your TM30 must have the expiry date of your lease on it on the check out date.

Lucky I do mine on the app and could re-do my TM30 at immigration.

TLDR : Answer Summary
At the Chiang Mai immigration office, applicants for a year extension must ensure that their TM30 form includes the expiration date of their lease as the check-out date. This new requirement has caused some confusion, leading several individuals to discuss the necessity of updating the TM30 and their experiences dealing with immigration documentation.

Yep when I got a resident certificate recently they weren’t happy with the end date not being filled in (and therefore stay showing as 0 days). I just made a new one with my wife and all good. But it’s a bit annoying I’ll have to remember to make another at some point…

I guess its a officer who not accepts a empty datefield. Same as they always make me add a departure date if i request a re-entry permit. Make up any date and its fine.

Yeah I left it open and the check documents window rejected it, so I did a new one and put check out date to the expiry of my rental contract, very bizarre

when getting the yearly extension your TM.30 must show/have an expiry date that matches your rental contract ending. Example contract states 1st June 2025, TM.30 Check out date must also say 1st June 2025. If you rental contract ends 1st June 2025 but your TM.30 check out date is say 2nd February 2025 they will make you file a new TM.30 (this is how I understand the post)
