thanks for clarifying. I disagree with your assessment, but I've seen other people say the same thing.
Here's why I disagree.
I have a friend that has been on a retirement visa here in Thailand for the past 5 years. He is married, has one child, and owns his home. He switched to the DTV visa this year because he wanted to do away with the paperwork. By your definition, he no longer lives in Thailand because of a visa change.
I don't want to argue, I just wanted to explain why I disagree. Again, thanks for clarifying.
I don't comment ever, but this response makes me very curious. What do you consider to be "living in a country?" Like what is the criteria that you would accept that someone lives in Thailand?
