So chatting with my Thai wife tonight. She’s at our condo in Bangkok. I’am in Southern California for some business. She said it’s been record hot and our electric bill is 1250 baht last month. Yeah something’s up with the extremely high bill Chris.

You won’t have any problems. Be safe and lovely family…🙏👍

Chris, do you receive the bill directly from the electric company or from the main office of the Condo manager? 7000 baht is excessive. Definitely something wrong. Our Rent on our condo is 9,000 baht….

Better get a good attorney because most foreigners are prohibited from owning most real estate in Thailand. Maybe marry a Thai women and she will be the listed land owner. Some condo units that meet certain requirements you can own a unit, but not land.

they want 800k for the first year because they don’t know your income. The second year you can prove the 65K baht per month with records and then the 800k isn’t required.

My advice is to apply online from your own country. Secure the Visa before arrival. As far as working in Thailand it might be somewhat difficult to get a work permit. Maybe consider hiring an agency that can guide you. Good luck.

Before the 60 is up go to immigration and pay 1900 baht for another 30 days. Assuming you got your 60 online..?
