A. Nony Mous Are there any other docs besides the employment certificate that they are asking for? I have a signed letter on letterhead stating I can work remotely from Thailand.

Is it common for Bangkok Bank to require insurance when opening an account for a Non O Visa?

They tried the same thing with me. Like everybody else says, you just need to go around to a lot of different banks and one will let you open an account. It’s really frustrating.

LIke other people said, I got notification around day 8 to upload the photo of the test. I had to go into the app and look at the notification tab and there was a link to upload the photo. It actually asked for the "day 7 covid rt-pcr test" so it looks like they haven't really updated the app for the newer rules.
