Just a quick question - I'm getting ready to apply for a DTV from the Thai Consulate in Los Angeles and I was just wondering if I need to show a purchased plane ticket to Thailand when applying? Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
You do not need to present a purchased plane ticket when applying for a DTV visa at the Thai Consulate in Los Angeles. However, keep in mind that you cannot apply more than 90 days before your intended arrival in Thailand.
