I have lived by myself for the past 20 years. I like doing things by myself. How ever from time to time, I am sure I would like to hear other expats views about their life in Thailand. Not just American expats, but some from all over.

I do not want to create America. I just want to be able to chat with Americans from time to time. Especially when I first arrive. Getting knowledge from them would be helpful. Thats all. I do not celebrate holidays anymore, as I am 76, and most of my family lives in other states. I believe to each , his own. If someone wants to celebrate, that's fine. I am very open minded. When I am not at work, I enjoy my time alone. I have many Philippine friends here. Actually, in Florida, I have friends from all over. But I want to retire in Thailand. I want to explore the country. I am going to Vancouver, stay two days to relax, then Am. airlines has a direct flight 9 hours to Bangkok.

I guess nasty hateful people are everywhere, not just in America.
