I didn’t say he DID need a visa and I know the rules. I just said it would be easier and worry free and give flexibility.

Just get a visa and then you’ll not have any issues. ;)

Tod is spot on (as always) with his detailed reply. It’s not the fault of the visa it’s the poor choice you made. Some countries don’t get 60 days on arrival so it maybe beneficial to some.

That’s weird. I’ll check my passport when I get home although I know you are very knowledgable on the subject.

great advice as usual. I did get a non o multi entry a few years ago. It’s seems the option comes and goes without reason.

The price is for processing your visa application regardless of acceptance or not.

60 days is for tourist not if you are living here. You might get away with it for a while but you’d be playing the system and risking not being allowed in. The retirement visa is the correct visa and wouldn’t give you any issues. Always playing with fire when you try to bypass a countries immigration system. Many may do it but it doesn’t make it right or safe.

well said as always. Great advice. At the end of the day this is for tourists and if they think you are not a tourist and abusing the system you will have issues.
