well said as always. Great advice. At the end of the day this is for tourists and if they think you are not a tourist and abusing the system you will have issues.
it would bring them inline with the cost of a visa for the UK. I guess they are aiming at longer stay people. If the 30 day exempt is still in place then many people on holiday won’t be affected. Glad I got my Ten Year Visa a few weeks ago ;)
correct. You have to carry a printed pdf of the visa with you and show it at the same time you give your passport otherwise you’ll be treated like a tourist and get 30 days. you get the usual stamp in your passport. Check the date is 90 days later before you leave immigration.
I’ve found the Thai embassy in the UK very quick so you might be able to get it done in time. They just email you the visa now so you don’t have to send your passport in to them. So if you don’t get it in time you can still travel to Thailand but arrive as a tourist with visa exception. If you later border bounce and your evisa has come through (that you applied for in the UK) you can print and use that. I found it very quick and easy to do online. It took less than a week and that jncluded asking for more information that I had forgotten to give.
yes but depending on timings of transactions that might help. If you need 800k to show and it doesn’t by making more transactions they will show. Timings might not help as I don’t know your circumstances.
