Yep, nothing to hide, will show them all original documents and clarify anything they're not sure about and show them my bank statements too on my phone (as others have mentioned), which all remains the same as when I first applied. I'm not worried about explaining or demonstrating anything, I've provided them with everything I have...was just a bit of a surprise😅 as an interview in London is very rarely heard of, and I got the update suddenly within half an hour of nudging them by email so seemed a tad random...

All good though. Most people in this group are helpful & provide mature replies. The group should be for helping people who have doubts/concerns/questions afterall 🤷

Hadn't considered that - whenever I've emailed them the replies are always quite generic and could really have been sent to any applicant... It's fair enough, they are likely inundated with applications and very busy.

I guess I could ask about an online interview, but I'm more than happy to comply with their request, it was just a bit of a shock after seeing so many people saying London was one of the more straightforward Embassys. I know other countries request interviews but rarely the UK.

The DTV is a great visa and 5yrs feels like quite a privilege, so I'll do whatever is required and just hope they're satisfied after the interview 🙏 Nothing to hide, will take all original documents with me, and clarify anything they need to.

I've only ever seen a request for interview once on this page in London, so thought it couldn't hurt to get further insight & knowledge on here 🙏

If you have the DTV yourself, then help people, or just scroll past...because it makes zero logical sense to just use this page to take passive-agressive swipes at strangers or bemoan people asking for reassurance 🤷 The tone of your comment says more about you than it does me buddy.

?? Sorry, hate to disappoint you, but you are incorrect. I know a lot of people post on this group scaremongering, etc... however my request for insight was entirely genuine (not that I really need to explain myself to you), in fact the only person who was "uneasy" at the time was me 😅 but since posting I've had an email from the Embassy confirming, and I've gotten plenty of mature helpful responses on here, so I will just attend my interview and provide anything they need 🙏

Some of us don't have time to post just for the sake of it or to troll (and yes genuine people are entitled to post anonymously if they wish)... I've actually found this group very helpful, but I shouldn't be surprised that there will be the occasional comment like yours here & there, you see it all the time on this group. Just because you're of a certain age, there's no need to be a negative grump and tar everyone with the same brush or make assumptions Christopher 🙏 You may have lived in Thailand a long time and be well-established - that's great...but other people are allowed to ask for help and live in Thailand too 🙏🙏

P.S.: My guess is you don't even have/never have had the DTV, so try making better use of your time perhaps & help people or scroll past 🙏🙏

DTV_BegPecker yep, did that whilst my post was being approved by admin 🙂 For generic repetitive questions, I can understand using the search function, but for something fairly out of the ordinary like this I don't think it can ever hurt to get extra insight, as not everyone replies to every post 🙏
