We've discussed before the issue of OA and O visa. I'm on OA which of course carries the need for TGIA insurance. I'm planning to go to Cambodia via Chantanaburi route WITHOUT a re-entry permit. As I understand , I'll get 60 days visa free. During this time I will go to immigration and ask for 365day leave to remain based on retirement. I have the 800k funds in the bank for last 10 years. I've been to immigration and asked them what they need to support the application. One thing that surprised me was a requirement for a hand drawn route from my rental place to local immigration. They also said a new tenancy agreement supported by the owners copies of tabian ban and id card ( plus of course my bank statements for the requisite period). Do you have any suggestions of likely pitfalls?
I don't think the general westerners salary will quadruple in 5 years. Say currently a nurse gets £35k/ year. Do you really think the salary will be up to £140k/ year? Great expectations Peter.
what? 1600baht/ day for a gardener? With your family name you could 'weed all' yourself surely. Just kidding Peter but your figures are over generous in my opinion.
