My wife has a good command of English as well, and lived in the UK for over 10 years…. Certainly not native level and I still struggle to understand her sometimes too 🤷‍♂️

I used Wise to transfer a large amount of money recently, definitely worth considering. Takes a couple of days to arrive, but no issues whatsoever

you’re right; we haven’t got married in the UK either. But I know some people like to do it in both countries for various reasons. But agree, not needed if you don’t want to 👍🏻

When my wife came here on a spouse visa she was able to work; not sure about a fiancé visa, though, if you’re planning on getting married here first. Would definitely be worth getting married over there before bringing her here and then get married here
