ok thanks. The old Immigration office was ( is) near the airport but on arrival it's a hassle to get to it as it's near but not at the airport- hopeless to try and park there.

why can't you do it the day you arrive? Do you mean the old immigration building where we went before we moved to Promenada? If that's the case Promenada is easier with better parking. I just wanted to do it on arrival.

Is there any way you can do this at the airport when you arrive? Bit of a hassle going into Promenada the following day. Especially after long flight.

mmm ok just read criteria for getting NZ age pension. You must have 10 years residency from age 20. I do. AND 5 years residency from age 50!! No I don't qualify
