 I saw it on the news some guy from germany or austria had a massive overstay and paid an agent to fix it and get and DTV. Then he was arrested at phuket airport when leaving because the stamps were fake and didnt turn up in the immigration database. Maybe that was the story here. Nothing to do with safe entry.
