1. If you cannot afford a few hundred dollar course, then likely shouldn't come to thailand on a muay thai visa.
2. Do some deep research about the schools and don't just look at the price tag. It's always about quality and value. Looking for the cheapest deal is not what I would advise.
3. Make sure muay thai is what you really want to do. No different than choosing a study or elective.
4. Lastly, seems like you don't know where you want to live. Hua hin is very different than bangkok. IF you haven't been to Thailand you should visit first and do research. If you have been, I would focus on the areas you would enjoy living in. Personally, Bangkok is cool for a weekend visit but I rather live in the outskirts in peace.
Well I mean, If you are here on a language visa, you should in fact know the language. I'm not even on a language visa and I speak a decent amount without schooling
Did that with Laos, but next time, I'm staying for a few days 🤣 Cost near 100$ (my son needed a visa too because not citizen yet.) we had a tour for 5 hours till returning to thailand.
Heard Vietnam requires more. I applied in the US and only provided the last month's bank statement and one pay stub/invoice for last month. Super simple. Proof of address was mail; then I just sent my work contract, which was about it. Besides my passport.
