My main problem with anonymous posts is that some of them are people trying to see if they can bend the rules, asking the simplest of questions like "Is Thailand safe?", or just random gossip. It gets repetitive and seems the group is in a slump.

John Grey Saving time by doing it correctly the first time is a stretch, nor a peace of mind. They have just as good a chance as you do of applying for it. An agent does not make magic happen like they once did. There has been a crackdown on agents lately by the Thai government.

They don't reject you instantly if everything is not right. They will email you with corrections, which you can provide. All in all, it took me roughly 10 minutes to apply on the US Embassy website, and they only requested one further document, which was easy to provide. The only time I would suggest an agent is if you do not meet the qualifications clearly and are kind of riding the line.

Dont over think it. I had a non o visa (no home address). I applied using my aunts address in which I just had some mail at her house to prove residence. Had no issues with Washington at all in regards to that.

Saw this a few days ago. Remain hopeful but once again, not super clear

Same, I also applied for remote work, and provided all documentation and says employment prohibited. Freaked me out at first till I did my research 😅

Things to be sure of

●Direct billing- Ensure the insurer offers direct billing with hospitals to avoid upfront payments

● Coverage area- up to you whether you want coverage just in thailand or across multiple countries

●Make sure they are aware of your pre-existing conditions as you don't want to deal with denial

Just don't overcomplicate it. Felt like my Non-o was more challenging than the DTV. Just look up which embassy in the US your state belongs to, and follow their guidelines

I mean, you are learning from the country that muay thai originated in with some of the best training in the world for it. Just a regular cheap gym in SC is charging 170$ a month and its not even a muay thai specialty. So just a couple hundred more you can experience the true version of strictly muay thai with highly experienced coaches. Not sure what you mean by "so typical" either.
