Kevin Gary Shingler No. We will be getting the Non-O visa and paying for multiple entry, with yearly exemptions. We will put the required money in a bank and follow all procedures. I never said we would be “bouncing”. We will have a full-time condo in Chiang Mai and then visit other countries, while still following all requirements.

Our plan is to get a 1-year lease in Chiang Mai and then take trips to other Thailand and SE Asia spots. Will cost more money but I don’t see a workaround that would work for us.

I think you have to have a lease already before you can get a bank account. Which doesn’t leave you much time to find a rental and get money in the bank to season for 2 months. I am trying to figure this out also.
