OR, you can just enter Thailand Visa Exempt, fund your Thai Bank Account, and convert to Non-O Retirement. If you want detailed instructions, just ask and I will post.

P.S. BUT NOTE: For those of us Ex Pats from USA, regardless of whether or not you need to file a Tax Return, IF you have a Thai Bank Account (or any foreign Bank Acct). with more than USD$10,000 equivalent, is is MANDATORY to separately file an annual FBAR/FINCEN Report with the US Treasury, or you will be subject to hefty Penalty/Fine!

Nope. As stated in your posted article above: "...the rules for filing income, estate, and gift tax returns and paying estimated tax are generally the SAME whether you are in the United States or abroad". See Also:

What is your point? I am well aware of IRS Rules. And, my comment above is absolutely correct.

Forget about Elite Visa. New LTR far superior if you wish to go long term. And, you can work remotely. Otherwise, Retirement Visa -- but, as most above have already stated -- any work (even remote) is technically illegal.

Funny, for a guy that doesn't want to waste time on Social Media, you just keep doing it. fyi, I don't need to exchange any money at this time. Was just gathering info. (i.e. doing my "Research", for possible future needs, and to pass along to others. But obviously, being helpful to others isn't something you would understand. So YOU BUGGER OFF, because you definitely aren't going to get the Last Word here:

Wow, you definitely have a serious problem. You call me rude and "dissing". Talk about the Pot calling the Kettle Black. And, FYI, I have a Crypto Wallet, and have bought and sold Crypto. Just never used it to transfer assets to a Thailand Bank. As I said above, DON'T BOTHER posting your time-wasting "suggestions", if you aren't willing to expound upon it. Just stay off the Group. You are one big Arse.

@Tom ******
No, actually I did NOT ask for a "suggestion" from you. You posted your "suggestion" in reply to the OP/Author. And, I replied to that: "Can you kindly PM me (or Post) detailed Instructions on how to do the Crypto transfer method?". So, I reiterate, don't bother Posting any "suggestions", if you aren't willing to provide details. Otherwise, your suggestions -- and YOU -- are worthless. Other posters, like myself, try our best to actually be helpful to folks who have questions.

Of course I have a Thai Bank Acct. But the rest sounds anything but "easy". e.g. P2P Swaps??? Why mention using "Crypto" in your Post, if you don't want to explain how. ðŸ˜
