90-Day Report Questions: USA Citizen, entered Thailand on 45-day Visa Exempt. Timely applied for Change to 90-day Non-O for Retirement, and intend to subsequently apply for 1-yr Extension of Stay. Questions: 1. Is initial 90-Day Report due 90 days from original entry into Thailand, or 90 days after issuance of new 90-Day Non-O Visa? (Note: That 90-Day Report Statutes states that first exention of Stay qualifies as a 90-Day Report -- is the issuance of the change to 90-Day Non-O qualify?). 2. If not, and I proceed with 90-Day Report for date of entry, when I then do apply and presumably receive the 1-yr Extension of Stay, would "clock" start again on due date for 90-day Report -- that is to say, would the issuance of 1-yr Extension now qualify as a 90-day Report, even though not the first? 3. Finally, I note we had a little difficulty when applying for the change to 90-day Non-O, when they didn't like the TM30 "Receipt" we received from Condominium, and said we needed to get the "hard copy" Slip instead, which we then did. Will same issue arise with 90-day Report documentation when we apply for the 1-yr Extension, if we only do an On-Line Web Report -- i.e. will we need to actually get an in-person hard copy Receipt at Immigration Office? I know above are all very technical questions, that probably no one will have definitive answer for, and I intend to ask Immigration Office as well -- but, of course, depending on who you ask there, answers may also vary, and not "binding" on whoever processes the 1-yr Extension and/or enforces the 90-day Reporting requirements. Uggh.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The initial 90-Day Report is typically due 90 days from the application for the 1-year extension rather than from the original entry into Thailand. However, there can be variations based on individual circumstances, so it's advisable to confirm with the local immigration office when applying. The report can generally be done online without needing a hard copy receipt, but the address must match the latest TM30 document.

Not that difficult things.

Questions: 1. Is initial 90-Day Report due 90 days from original entry into Thailand, or 90 days after issuance of new 90-Day Non-O Visa?

-> Usually actual 90 days clock starts when you apply for a 1-year extension, and you'd get the notification of the due date. Check with your local immigration office when you apply for the first 1-year extension.

Questions: 2.

-> Refer to above. 90 days doesn't start your entry date as a tourist.

Questions: 3.

-> No. You can report your 90 days online without any hard copy. But you need to provide the exact address same as your latest TM30 receipt.
