we had alot of trouble at Leam Ngop. Wanted proof of outward flight and 2 weeks prepaid rental accommodation. They also said TM.30 info was incorrect which is wasn't. Hence our travel to Surat. Good luck!

Ours expired on March 16th, we extended until 15th of May on the 23rd of Feb in Surat Thani no issues.

contacted the landlord but they are confused as to why this is a problem. Official says we have to return another day. Will try again elsewhere to save another 3hr round trip.

Same for me. Nobody has ever even bothered looking close enough to see the dates you'll be fine as long as its longer that 4 weeks prior to travel.

ah OK, I think we will put it off a little longer just incase. Originally we had intended to apply in the Koh Phangan immigration office but after speaking to people and reading some reviews we are thinking of getting it done in Krabi some time around the 5th.
